On Track

The path to nowhere
Evanescent avenue
I know, I've been there.

When our paths converge
Our streams of consciousness bond
And we’re back on track.

Unchecked tears now flow
Down the path to oblivion;
Everything turns dark.

Lamplight shows the way
Along the path to my home,
To my hearth and heart.

Uphill all the way
A long and serpentine path;
I will not give up.

Without direction

The soul wanders in circles

We all need Road Maps!
